Results of the thirty-fifth auction for the selection of SPP projects on December 8, 2020 with a total installed capacity of 20 MW
Today, JSC "KOREM" held auctions for the project of a solar power plant (hereinafter - SPP) with an installed capacity of 20 MW, located in the city of Kentau in the rural district of Iassy, Turkestan region.
Auction recognized as successful. The geography of participants of the auction is represented by 2 countries, including Russia and Germany.
The winner of the auction is the company:
HEVEL KAZAKHSTAN LLP (Russia) with the price 14.58 tg/kWh (without VAT).
The maximum auction price – 16.97 tg/kWh (without VAT) during the trading session decreased by 14.1%.
3 companies were allowed to participate in the auction, during the trading session participants submitted 48 price offers. During the trading session, the price range of applications received from auction participants ranged from 16.97 to 14.58 tg/kWh (without VAT).
During the auction, representatives of the Ministry of the energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, FSC of RE participated as observers. Observers noted that the auction was conducted in accordance with the approved regulatory legal acts and confirmed the transparency of the electronic trading system of the auction organizer – JSC "KOREM".
The next auction is scheduled for 10.12.2020 for the type of SPP 20 MW (with documentation).

According to the auction schedule approved by the order of the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 202 dated 21.05.2020, auctions in the amount of 250 MW of installed capacity are planned for 2020, broken down by type of power plants:
- solar power plants – 55 MW (including 2 projects with documentation, installed capacity of each project is 20 MW);
- wind power plants – 65 MW;
- hydroelectric power plants – 120 MW;
- BioPP – 10 MW.
